Send Your Camera To Us
If you’re ready to send your camera in, these are our recommendations:
STEP 1. Include a note describing the problem.
We might have spoken with you on the phone about your camera, but we take quite a few calls—your description of the problem(s) will help us to get started on the repair right away.
STEP 2. Be sure to include your contact information.
Believe it or not, from time-to-time we get cameras with no contact information. We certainly won’t leave them for lost, but usually we have to wait around until the owner gets in touch before we can get to work. Let us know how to get in touch with you.
STEP 3. Keep your accessories at home.
We have more than enough cameras to keep track of without having to store cases, straps, tripod quick-release brackets and the like. Keeping them at home means that we have just what we need to work with and no one has to worry about things getting lost.
STEP 4. Pack it well.
Shipping can wreak havoc on the fine mechanics and electronics of your camera. Be sure to pack it in a box that allows 3-5 inches on all sides. Packing corn and/or bubble-wrap are great protectors. It’s always better to send it in something bigger than the box that it came in from the manufacturer.
STEP 5. Ship it with insurance.
We cannot be responsible for damage to your camera while it is en route to us. Choose a reputable shipping company (US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) and insure the package. OUR ADDRESS
